I used to feel that Dr Culshaw was one of the better doctors based at the surgery, she is often very warm and friendly...however upon seeing my 2 year old daughter with chicken pox she advised me to give her children's nurofen for her temperature. It is a well known fact that you should not give a child with chicken pox ibuprofen. I should have corrected her but thought perhaps I may be wrong...on checking the NHS website, nurofens website and speaking to 111 it appears that Dr Culshaw did give incorrect care advice to what could potentially be a dangerous situation! Training and medical updates issue here as this is now the third time I have been given incorrect, potentially dangerous advice; although I will add this is the first time from Dr Culshaw.
